An unknown Signal company, probably taken slightly before The Great War. Seen here with 'Begbie Lamps', telescopes on tripods, flags and bicycles

An unknown Dispatch Rider on his Douglas Motorcycle. (note mud shield)

A 'Sergeant' signaller, his cap badge denotes Machine Gun Corps. The only clue to his identity is an inscription on the reverse that states: "To Harry from Arthur, from your sincere friend"

Some lads from the 7th NF. This picture was sent to me by John Ievers who writes; I have just come across this picture that includes my grandfather Pte Edwin Ievers of 1st/7th Bn. He was killed in October 1917 at Ypres. My guess that this picture was from 1916 - but where??? Edwin is standing third from right.
